Mill Yard Reflections 2019
Two “paintings” are “shredded” into four metre tall lines on a multi-storey car park, each comprising of panels 14cm wide – echoing the wooden slats that form part of the car park’s elevations.
Meticulously painted with combinations of differently pigmented paints – south facing side painted red, east facing side yellow. The nano-technology interference pigments used are light reflective and opalescent creating light sensitive, constantly changing colours that, although as paint appear colourless, bend wavelengths and scatter them.
